Cottage and B&B in Ilam, Ashbourne (Peak District)
Set in seven acres of Peak District countryside, Garden Farm offers a relaxing and idyllic location to explore the
surrounding area. Our four
bed and breakfast rooms are tastefully appointed and are either en-suite shower room or private bathroom. All are fitted with the usual assortment of tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, and television. Each room overlooks the garden and surrounding fields with panoramic views along the Manifold Valley and the grounds of Ilam Hall, now owned by the National Trust.

This part of the house has its own private entrance and hallway, plus a comfortable residents lounge where you may relax and browse through an assortment of books and magazines.
Garden Farm is 5 miles from Ashbourne, and 1 mile from the renowned beauty spot of Dovedale. Tissington trail also passes close by and footpaths into the surrounding area are right on our doorstep. For the young and young-at-heart, Alton Towers is about eight miles away.

We welcome well-behaved pets (see
pet policy) and children who can explore all of our woodland and paddock. There is ample car parking plus secure cycle storage and plenty of places to clean and dry muddy boots, coats, pets and children! We do operate a no smoking policy in the house and cottage. Evening meal may be available by prior arrangement. We source as much produce as possible locally, meat products from the butchers in Tissington.
Originally built in the 1800s, Garden Farm was part of the Ilam Hall estate and during it's time has served as farm workers cottage and barns for livestock. Partly converted in the 1930's and further extended and renovated to a very high standard about ten years ago, today the house offers the perfect place to stay, either as a bed and breakfast guest or in the cottage, currently let through
English Country Cottages.
Debbie and Richard look forward to welcoming you to Garden Farm. If you have any queries or require further information, please give us a call.
