Garden Farm Access

The house and cottage originally date from the 1800's with later additions, improvements and extensions. The cottage in particular shows evidence of its history and former life.

The cottage is accessed through a front door that is wide enough for a standard wheel chair to pass through. However, none of the internal doors are wide enough for this. There is a level floor between the kitchen/dining room and the lounge. From the lounge there is a 70mm/3inch step up into the down stairs bedroom which is a twin with an en-suite shower room with level floor between them.

Upstairs bedroom and bathroom is via a thirteen tread stair case that has a hand rail on one side and there is turn immediately at the bottom of the staircase. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.

All the B&B rooms are on the ground floor. There are two wings which are separate from the main house. The main wing has rooms 1, 2 and 3. The lounge and breakfast area are also in this area. There is a 70mm/3inch step up over the front door threshold into the hallway, then level access throughout this area. The front door is wide enough for a standard wheel chair but from the hallway, the internal doors are not wide enough for this.

Room 1 has a shower over a bath, room 3 is en-suite with a standard shower cubicle.

Room 4 has a 70mm/3inch step down into the hallway. The front door to this area is wide enough for a standard wheel chair, but not the internal doors. From the hallway there is level access throughout. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.
